As a social media assistant with eaHELP, you will manage and execute your client’s social media campaigns. The company has been in business since 2010 and service the needs of their clients nationwide. They offer competitive pay which is not advertised anywhere on the internet. eaHelp mainly looks for self-motivated individuals that are comfortable with navigating through various computer programs.
LeapForce and Appen Butler Hill are two major firms that hire search engine evaluators. (Appen also hires social media evaluators, who analyze the relevancy of a company’s social media news feed.) Appen has potential employees complete an application (project-specific screenings and language proficiency tests may also be required), and LeapForce asks candidates to take and pass a three-part qualifying exam. Both companies also require that you have a new computer, smartphone, high-speed internet, anti-virus software, certain operating systems and be a little internet-savvy.

Time Etc is a reputable virtual assistant company that also hires social media assistants for their clients. You will use your social media experience to help clients promote their businesses. Tasks can include writing posts on Facebook, tweeting and retweeting, and much more. This position generally offers flexibility as long as you are available to work during normal business hours as needed by the client.
Being a social media manager can be of the best work-from-home jobs if you’re autonomously managing a company’s social media presence. As the voice of the organization, you can manage the strategy and the day-to-day support for their top social platforms. This could include content creation, advertising budget and daily engagement. Having your own thriving social media presence will help you get experience and show your prospective clients your know-how. Social media marketing changes faster than a newborn in a diaper...so be willing to stay on top of the trends.

This particular work-at-home opportunity takes a little more work experience in general than the other four on this list, but it pays better too. Search engine evaluators examine Internet search results and give feedback as to whether they are accurate, relevant, and spam-free. To do this, the evaluator must be knowledgeable about current culture and the Internet, with good communication skills. Sometimes a college degree is required or preferred, but direct experience as a search evaluator is usually not.
