Are you fluent in multiple languages? Did you kill it on your SATs or are you particularly knowledgeable about a certain topic? Consider being an online tutor! You still get the satisfaction of seeing first-hand the difference you have made in a student’s life…all from the comfort of your home. Tutors are typically part time and are paid hourly, but depending on your expertise and needs of your client(s), you may be able to secure full time -- and super lucrative -- work.
In increasingly visual, mobile, digital markets, producing engaging content goes beyond text. As a result, video jobs, employment developing infographics and side work creating other specialized content have emerged as realistic stay at home opportunities. In addition to production and design staff, various media outlets rely on independent contractors to manage large-scale marketing efforts and social media campaigns. Bracing for challenges and knowing the value of your work are keys to success, in a field where networking and a diverse skill set help keep work flowing through your home business.
The company list below is based on an analysis of over 50,000 companies in FlexJobs’ database and looks specifically at the part-time job posting histories that offered the highest number of either full or partial telecommute options. These part-time, remote jobs, which require less than 40 hours per week, were posted from July 1 through October 1, 2018.
Nearly all gyms will require you to become certified, so be sure to research the necessary requirements for certification. The ideal situation is to find a gym or community center that offers free childcare for instructors, but since people work out at all hours of the day, you can also potentially just schedule your classes or training sessions around your spouse's availability.
Home-based work can be broken down into two separate categories: jobs where you work for yourself (and have unlimited income potential) and jobs in which you work for somebody else (with an income ceiling). Neither type necessarily requires you to work full-time. However, these are all online jobs – which means you’ll need a high-speed internet connection in order to work from home.
A transcriptionist listens to audio files and types up what they hear. This is an excellent work-from-home option for anyone with good keyboarding skills and great hearing — since sometimes the audio files are not the best quality and you will have to listen closely (or rewind several times) to accurately transcribe the message. As with mystery shopping, you do need to be careful of transcription scams, which will often ask you to pay for an expensive transcription certification course. You can find legitimate transcription work online at sites like FlexJobs.com.
Since you need to find a job fast, I highly suggest using FlexJobs. FlexJobs is a paid job board — but it will save you a ton of time!  First, they have an amazing search feature which allows you to search for positions by job category, telecommuting level, experience level, and job type — so you can find exactly what you're looking for. Second, FlexJobs hand-screens every job opportunity before posting so you know every single job on their website is legit! And if you’re dissatisfied with the service you can request a full refund. It’s also worth noting that they have an A+ rating with Better Business Bureau.
I just wanted to let you know that I have been hired by Maritz (Thank you Annie) and working with them for almost 30 days now (perfect attendance gets you a $.25 raise after 30 days too). The company has us calling customers from different businesses (banks, insurance co. etc..) and asking them to please complete a survey of how their customer service experience was between 1 (poor) and 10 (excellent). They pay you the minimum wage of your state weekly by direct deposit and pay on time. The staff is great and helpful and they make the job easy and enjoyable. Thanks again Annie and bless you for all your great and helpful information that you share with us.
By now, most individuals either have access to a smartphone or some type of mobile device or use social media to some capacity to connect with and share information online.  But did you know that  you can use this to your advantage to get a work at home job?  The good news is that there are a few legitimate companies that need remote workers to complete online tasks with their smartphone or mobile device or simply be an active daily user of social media.

Increasingly, customer service positions (both the full-time job and part-time job varieties) are provided not through centralized, physical call center facility but through home-based employees who have access to a good phone line and high-speed internet connection. These jobs that you can do from home tend to be good for those that need to work remotely and are self-sufficient and organized even when not in an office environment.

Like most work-at-home jobs, the amount of money you make depends on your experience level and any specialties you may have. According to Salary.com, annual salaries for technical support representatives range from roughly $29,600 to $43,300 with a median salary of $34,400 a year. That breaks down to about $16.50 an hour, but again this figure varies widely.
With the huge decluttering trend across the nation, there are a number of people who want to KonMari their homes but hate the idea of handling their own eBay or Craigslist sales. An at-home professional seller can do all of the legwork to list items and mail them out to buyers. In exchange for doing this work, you get to keep a commission, which is generally 15% to 25% of the sale price. This kind of work can fit around your kids' nap and swim lesson schedule and can be very lucrative if you have a good sense of how to make sales posts attractive to buyers and can leverage your social media contacts to find customers.
That’s not to say that blogging isn’t a real work-from-home option. I personally know dozens of people who make more than six figures a year from their blog, including my own family. In fact, I’d highly encourage you to start a blog if you feel inclined. Eventually, it can be a great source of residual income. Just don’t go into it thinking you’re going to make a ton of money right out of the gate.
Note:  Nearly all of these programs require an upfront investment for purchasing your initial inventory. They’re not our first choice when it comes to work from home jobs for this reason alone. We don’t like seeing users getting stuck with thousands of dollars in inventory only to realize they’re trying to offload their LuLaRoe into already saturated markets.
Attorneys preparing for trial often create a mock jury to get feedback from individuals similar to those who may eventually sit on a jury. Since it can be costly to do in this in person in the community where the trial, cheaper online jurors are the logical alternative. They might listen to audio and view video presentations, or read the material and answer questions.
