I had no idea salvage grocery stores were a thing, but apparently they are. And here is a partial list of them, sorted by state.

I have 2 salvage stores very close to my home that I’ve checked out. Its hit and miss. Most things are expired and that is somewhat of a concern to me. Often times, it wont matter but I wont buy food from there or medications.
